Unblock AI: practical AI demos in Lisbon
We wanted a simple room for practical AI demos and honest conversations. That is why we started Unblock AI. AI gets more useful when people show what they are building, where it helps, and where it still breaks. A demo is only the start. The harder parts are review loops, security, cost, data access, and knowing when a tool is good enough to keep using. The first Unblock AI meetup happened on 29 April 2026 at Dashlane’s Lisbon office.

Bica is a typical portuguese expression for a small cup of coffee. It all began with a need to drink coffee! Over spring, every day, after having lunch in the galley, there was a widespread urge to drink coffee… without having to climb all the way up to the 3rd floor, where the coffee machine was in our old office. Through some volunteering, or lot drawing, process, someone would climb the steps, bring back the coffee and happiness would ensue.
