We wanted a simple room for practical AI demos and honest conversations.
That is why we started Unblock AI.
AI gets more useful when people show what they are building, where it helps, and where it still breaks. A demo is only the start. The harder parts are review loops, security, cost, data access, and knowing when a tool is good enough to keep using.
The first Unblock AI meetup happened on 29 April 2026 at Dashlane’s Lisbon office. We had talks about a travel-agency backoffice built with AI, early-stage marketing, solo entrepreneurship, and developer workflows around Claude and OpenClaw.
The best moments came after the slides. People asked what broke, what was still manual, which parts were fragile, and what would still be useful a week later.
We do not want Unblock AI to become a small conference with lanyards and sponsor walls. We want it to feel like a working session.
Bring the internal tool. Bring the prototype. Bring the agent setup that works most of the time. Bring the failed experiment too.
Unblock AI is for people building with AI, using it at work, introducing it into teams, or trying to decide where to start. You do not need to be an ML researcher. You do need to be specific.
Show the thing. Explain the tradeoff. Say what surprised you. Be honest about what still needs work.
